When will peace descend ;

Why ?
I'm so freaking frustrated with what's happening around the world now .
Christchurch had a 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit Canterbury on 22 Feb ,
12.51pm ( I probably just woke up from my oversleeping. ) ,
which resulted in a death toll of 145 , 200 still missing ,
up till now .
Christchurch is the second largest city in New Zealand ,
and it's business centre was saturated and thriving .
Because of the earthquake and all the strong aftershocks ,
one-third of the city's building is facing demolition .
Face it ,
a vibrant CBD (Centre Building District) turned into a ruin ,
just because of a 6.3 earthquake .
My heart goes all out to all the victims and families of those victims and missing ,
I hope the rescue team will be able to really ,
create more miracles by saving more people from beneath the ruins .
And you know what's the agonizing thing ?
While one part of the world have people putting in all their efforts to try and dig into those rubbles ,
every inch they dig ,
they are praying to see something move ,
something to call out to them ,
something to reach out to them ,
someone who they can save out from hell ;
At the other part of the world ,
people are trying to kill each other .
Egypt and Libya .
The anti dictatorship riot started .
So many people were left dead .
Gadhafi even promised to open his arsenal for loyalists to be armed .
To shoot down their fellow countrymen ,
those who are protesting .
And Egypt ,
finally free after a few riots breakout .
Hosni Mubarak finally relented and set Egypt free .
But what's free ?
What is the extent of free ?
I know that the protestors have no other way other than to protest and force the dictators down ,
but really .
When they riot ,
they're the one suffering .
Sometimes I wonder ,
does it worth it ?
When I learnt that Zimbabwe was the poorest country in the world ,
which it's country running on dictatorship ,
I thought ,
it is worth it to overturn the government .
But look at the amount of people getting killed .
365 alone in Cairo , on 16 February .
That's like two times of the victims that died in Christchurch !
I really don't understand why the people fight .
Why ,
in order to achieve a greater living in life ,
you sacrifice your fellow men ?
Then if you were asked if you will want to sacrifice your life in times of revolution , will you ?
And there's this freaking mugger in my class with a MSN display name ;
"The only solution for peace is war ."
I mean seriously .
Do he even know his history .
War only determines who's left ,
and not who's right .
Really feel like slapping him .
War only sacrifices more lives ,
war only causes more unrest ,
war only deter the country's economy ,
war only reduces the society welfare .
Why war ?
Why oh why people can be anyhow sacrificed just for a greater purpose ?
When do people learn their lesson ,
that war was never good ?
It was never good .
And it will never be .
Never .
