Poof !

There goes the 3 days camp that we took more than a month to plan it .

We've gone a long way isn't it ,

from coming out with the structures of how councillors is allocated ,

to individual I/Cs leading their committee to come out with the games for the OGL camp .

I think one consolation I got from the camp was that ,

I saw many people changed ,

for the better .

People like Junjie ,

who really sucked the first time he gave a briefing ,

to now ,

at least 70% around the standard that all of us should be .

People like Wan, Jeanette, Sarah & Jeanna ,

whom we once complained that they haven't been so active in council ,

I see them stepping out ,

leading the OGLs ,

giving very relevant thoughts and feelings at each debriefs .

These are the small little changes that made me feel touched during the camp .

I liked what Gabriel said during his briefing for Icebreakers ;

"The biggest room in this world is the room for improvement."

A lot of us needs a lot more improvement I guess .

And many have taken the step forward to improve themselves ,

it's that obvious .

On the contrary ,

for some people ,

I think we've already reached our limits of trying to put forth our opinions to them .

I mean like ,

we're always on the wrong frequency ,

and I'll be thinking like ,

"Why can't you just be at the same frequency as us ?!"

If anyone would have noticed ,

there's a difference between crying for a reason and crying without a reason .

I bet when Jun Jie's voice was shaking during the debrief ,

many felt sad .

That's the difference .

If until now they still can't sense it ,

then hallelujah to them ,

because they're just being oblivious to your surrounding .

I don't know whether it's due to influences or what ,

because I can stand people not attending camp for various reason ,

I can stand people who screws up certain things during the camp ,

I can stand people pushing their beliefs from one extreme end to another ,

but I just can't stand you .

So right now ,

i probably need to get a chair and sit down , haha .

Yes ,

I don't deny that you are a good leader ,

but I guess you're in the wrong council ,

that's all .

Back to the topic on OGL camp ,

I think I learnt a lot .

Be it from the council , House Committee or the OGLs themselves .

Honestly I felt very inferior towards the House Committee from the very start of my council life ;

I love the fact that they can get the whole crowd going ,

people like Soon Lai, Royal and Fadzli ,

who always have that crazy ideas in mind and know the exact spot to tackle to make their people cheer ,

But subsequently ,

as I bonded with my AG which have Ming Zuo and Fadzli ,

I realised that ,

we're all the same .

I mean ,

councillors and House Committee ,

we wish to bring out the best in our fellow peers ,

be it within house or as a school .

I mean ,

a lot of us are shy people ,

cause we're just a normal Meridian student ,

we were as aimless as the rest when we entered the school .

What make us slightly different from the student population is that ,

we stepped out to lead the school .

Haha ,

sometimes I was thinking ,

if council and House Committee were to be fused together ,

How would it be like ?

Crazy thought ,

but interesting isn't it , worth a thought .

Just hope that Orientation will be successful !

I will give my all to ensure that it won't be as screwed as OGL Camp ! :DDDD

And I think ,

from now on ,

I shall keep to this blog .

One blog to write down all my thoughts and feelings .

No point having another blog to make other people feel sad after reading it .

And and YAY .

My second time making cheesebaked rice !

This is is much more successful LOL .

Be jealous people :D
